This large-scale public art project incorporates the 12 window spaces on the west side of Pioneer Place facing SW 5th Avenue, capturing fragmented shapes of surrounding reflections and shadows landing on the windows from different angles. By day, reflective surfaces and translucent color amplify natural light, and at night, artificial light creates luminous color properties within the imagery. It addresses the way architecture shapes our experience of light, form and space in the urban habitat and explore perceptual tensions between time, space, structure, and movement. The project will be continually developed and modified throughout its duration.
